Alpacas cannot be compared to regional animals. They have special needs that we as owners and breeders must meet. You should not find out about these on your own and expose the animals to unnecessary danger.

    Das erste Seminar, welches du belegen solltest, wenn du planst dir Alpakas anzuschaffen. Hier geht es um die Haltung und Pflege von Alpakas, die Anforderungen an den Stall und die Weiden, gesetzliche Grundlagen, die Fütterung, Tiergesundheit, sowie den täglichen Umgang mit den Kameliden.

  • Geburt & Fohlenaufzucht

    Bei diesem Kurs besprechen wir ausführlich alle Themenbereiche der Zucht. Du erfährst, was während der Trächtigkeit wichtig ist und wie du deine Stute bei der Geburt unterstützen kannst. Außerdem wirst du darauf vorbereitet, was mit einem Fohlen Neues auf dich zukommt und was du bei dessen Aufzucht unbedingt beachten solltest.

  • Handling & Training

    Alpakas und Lamas sind Flucht- und Distanztiere, daher benötigen sie eine esondere Art des Trainings. Das Wichtigste, was wir unseren Tieren beibringen, ist still stehen zu bleiben, wenn wir z.B. die Nägel schneiden möchten oder sie am Kopf berühren für gewisse Maßnahmen (z.B. Augentropfen geben). Hierfür ist es wichtig, dass deine Tiere dir vertrauen. Ich zeige dir gerne, wie du dieses Vertrauen aufbaust.

Aim of the seminar

This seminar is aimed at anyone interested in alpacas. Whether you are planning to keep alpacas as a hobby or for breeding, you should acquire the necessary basic knowledge to be able to keep your animals in a species-appropriate manner.

We will also carry out practical exercises on handling and caring for alpacas , as there are a number of things to consider when dealing with a flight animal.

It is important that you develop a feeling for keeping alpacas, in addition to the theoretical basics, while also dealing with the animals in practice. Ideally, by the end of the seminar you will have figured out which path you want to take and can start planning.

We will also give you individual advice on your project. You are welcome to bring photos or plans of your property, stables and pastures to see how you can best use your land for keeping alpacas.

Aim of the seminar

This seminar is aimed at alpaca owners who have little or no experience with births and foal rearing .

Foaling season is a wonderful and exciting time of the year. Every breeder knows that it is not a given that everything will go smoothly during this time. This makes it all the more important to continue your education - to acquire the necessary knowledge, to exchange ideas with experienced breeders and to benefit from their experiences in order to be as well prepared as possible. So that you too can soon have sweet, healthy foals jumping around in your pasture.

In this seminar we will discuss how you can best manage your herds (stallions, mares, weanlings). It covers breeding criteria , mating , pregnancy and foal rearing .

Alpacas are wonderful animals in so many ways and alpaca breeding is a true passion, as the Incas already recognized!

It is highly recommended to attend the basic seminar beforehand in order to build on the knowledge gained there.

Außerdem lernst du wie man Alpakas stressfrei halftert, das 1x1 der Leinenführigkeit und wie deinen Tieren beibringst, dass sie sich freiwillig die Nägel schneiden lassen.

      Dieses Seminar findet ist ein privater Workshop, welcher bei dir und mit deinen Tieren stattfindet. Das tolle ist - die Trainingsmethoden können an deine räumlichen Bedingungen und an deine Tiere angepasst werden. Wir arbeiten zusammen mit deinen Tieren, wo wir den Fokus darauf lenkenm könne, was am Handling und Training mit deinen Lieblingen verbessert weden kann.

      Außerdem gibt es eine Auffrischung vom Basic-Seminar, wir steigen in verschiedene Themen tiefer ein, du lernst das Clicker-Training kennen und wir analysieren- was deine Tiere für Verhaltenstypen sind und welches individuelle Training sie brauchen.
